The Past Year- Part III

July
We were busy little bees in July. We had lots of fun stuff going on. The most fun we had was the first week in July. We got to spend the week at the lake with a house full of family and friends. Our cousins from Georgia even came to the lake for the week. It was a great week. Suzy had a ball. She was spoiled by everyone.
She had so much fun at the grocery store that day, and she never even got out of the truck.

She looooved riding on the boat. She was perfect.

She is definitely a water baby.

Love this.

While my cousin, Ali, was in town I asked her to take some pictures of all the women in our family. It is such a blessing for Suzy to have so many grandmothers. While she had the camera out I made Scott join in on the fun too.

We had Suzy's six month pictures done in a sunflower field. They turned out great. It was scorching hot, but so worth it.

Suzy also became a Tattle Tales girl. She started going to daycare two days a week to give me some time to get some things done around the house, and I wanted her to start interacting with other kiddos. I just thought it was a good idea for the both of us. I was right. She loves Tattle Tales, and they love her back.

August

August must have been a slow month for us Smiths. I only have a few things documented from that month. Either we were super lazy or I was lazy in documenting. The major thing that happened was Scott being transferred to Iowa. He was there during the week and home every other weekend. It was quite the adjustment. Suzy started crawling and climbing everywhere. Keeping up with her just got harder. Along with those things, I started school. Going back to reality is no fun. The summers are just too nice. Us teachers get way too spoiled in the summer time.

She had her first Oreo Blast and she was obsessed. She is her Mama's baby.

I do let her get dirty. It is proven.

She started becoming very aware of her surroundings, and wanted to figure out what everything was. The door stopper thing was her favorite toy for a couple days.
